The pair shot opening rounds of two-under par 70 on Thursday, leaving them two shots off the early leaders.

Rick Lamb, Seung-Yul Noh and Joel Dahmen got to four-under but a host of the field were left to finish their first rounds after play was suspended due to heavy rain in California.
Lowry hit a purple patch on the back nine of the Pebble Beach course with four birdies in the space of five holes before he dropped a shot on the last.
Power, who played the more sheltered Spyglass Hill course, had four birdies and two bogeys on his card.
Pádraig Harrington is in a tie for 82nd after a round of 74 left him on two-over.
