Tipperary bring in 4 players from All-Ireland U21 final side for senior qualifier with Louth

The counties meet in Round 2A next Saturday.

TIPPERARY HAVE MADE four changes for Saturday’s All-Ireland football qualifier in Semple Stadium from the side that lost to Kerry at the Munster semi-final stage.

U21 players Jimmy Feehan, Ian Fahey, Liam Casey and Kevin O’Halloran all come in to the starting side at full-back, midfield, wing-forward and corner-forward respectively.

Stephen O’Brien and George Hannigan are both ruled out through injury while Robbie Kiely and Ger Mulhaire also make way.

Louth manager Colin Kelly has kept faith with the team that saw off Leitrim at the first round stage.

Conor Grimes came off the bench to score 1-1 in that clash but must be content with a place amongst the substitutes again here.

Louth faced Tipperary in Division 3 of the league in March with Tipperary triumphing by 4-16 to 3-11 while the counties meet in the qualifers in 2009.

The Round 2 clash takes place on Saturday afternoon at 2.45pm in the first part of a triple-header at the venue and The42 will have live coverage from Thurles.
