LIVERPOOL AND SEVILLA are contesting the Europa League final in Basel tonight.

Reds fans were out in force in the Swiss city last night and today, with 10,000 tickets allocated to the Premier League club at the 38,512-capacity St Jakob Park.

Minutes before kick-off, there were unsavoury scenes in the ground as a fight broke out between a small section of Liverpool supporters and their Spanish counterparts.

However, riot police eventually arrived on the scene to calm things down before the game got underway.
