After they were hammered 6-1 by Stoke City on the final day of last season, Liverpool have the chance to exact revenge on the Potters with a visit to the Britannia on 8 August.
However, a glance further down the list shows that Brendan Rodgers has got an extremely difficult run of seven away fixtures to open the campaign — with trips to the champions Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Man United, Tottenham and Everton.
Here there are:
v Stoke City, 8 August
v Arsenal, 22 August
v Manchester United, 12 September
v Everton, 3 October
v Tottenham, 17 October
v Chelsea, 31 October
v Manchester City, 21 November
