LIVERPOOL FANS VOICED their anger at reports that Raheem Sterling intends to leave the club at tonight’s Player of the Year awards ceremony.

The 20-year-old England international, who is set to head for the exit door this summer after turning down a £100,000-a-week deal, was named Young Player of the Year at the Echo Arena.

And, according to a number of journalists present, fans heckled and booed Sterling as he stepped down off the stage and headed back to his seat.

Phillippe Coutinho won Player of the Year, meanwhile.
