Liverpool's draw with Bolton denies unlucky punter £1million

The individual almost pulled off an unlikely coup from an initial £10 bet.

THERE WERE NO shortage of shocks in the FA Cup yesterday, and one individual almost benefited hugely from these results.

Betfair tweeted that one of their customers stood to win £1million from a £10 bet after correctly predicting a number of surprise outcomes.

The individual in question was waiting on just one game — the late kick-off between Liverpool and Bolton — in which he was relying on both teams to score and Bolton to win.

Unfortunately, the match ended 0-0 and the punter neglected to cash out, meaning his unlikely bid to win £1million ultimately ended in failure.

However, Betfair did at least offer the poor guy four £1,000 free bets, as well as two tickets to the FA Cup final.
