Henderson scores one, sets up the other as Liverpool stretch their unbeaten league run

It was another comfortable night for the Reds at Anfield.

LIVERPOOL KEPT TOUCH in the race for the top four with a comfortable 2-0 win against Burnley in Anfield.

Captain Jordan Henderson opened the scoring in the first half, and then created the second for Daniel Sturridge early in the second half.

With Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United all winning this evening, it’s as you were for the top five in the Premier League.

There was a whiff of Gerrard from Henderson’s opener in the 29th minute:

It’s Liverpool’s 12th straight game without defeat in the league — nine wins and three draws — a run that stretches back to 14 December when they were beaten by Manchester United.
