We’ve just received today’s teams and while Swansea are unchanged from last week’s impressive season opener, West Ham hand a debut to new signing Matt Jarvis.

Jarvis is one of two changes to the team that beat Aston Villa, with Matt Taylor dropping to the bench and James Tomkins replacing Ricardo Vaz Te.

Good afternoon folks, Steven O’Rourke on Liveblog duty this afternoon.

Personally, I think we’re in for a decent game that the home team should win.

But what do you think? Can the Swan’s make it two wins on the bounce or will West Ham spoil Michael Laudrup’s first home game?

West Ham fans will be hoping Matt Jarvis can put in the same kind of performance as he did on his last visit to Swansea.

The former Wolves man grabbed a brace in a thrilling 4-4 draw.

Record signing Ki Sung-Yeung has been introduced to the home fans in the Liberty Stadium.

Unfortunately, the Korean’s signature came too late for today’s game.

First chance of the game falls to West Ham as Kevin Nolan just fails to get on the end of a Matt Jarvis cross.

Swansea struggling to get out of their half in the opening minutes.

Michael Laudrup doesn’t look happy with his side’s performance so far.

The home team have been careless in possession and it’s allowing West Ham control the middle of the field.

Natahan Dyer looks to be the only Swansea awake in this early kick off.

His blocked shot resulted in the game’s first corner but the chance was wasted by  Jonathan de Guzman who failed to beat the first West Ham player.

It appears as if Swansea thought this was a 1pm kick off.

The home side are starting to string their passes together and, while they’ve yet to create any meaningful opportunities, they look more like the side that put 5-0 past QPR last week.

Just as Robert Green was embarrassed by Swansea last week, Jussi Jaaskelainen has turned the ball into his own net today.

Angel Rangel’s shot looked easy enough to gather for the big Finn but he somehow managed to put make a mess of it.

A terrible back pass by West Ham’s James Collins lets Michu in for his third goal in two games.

After a promising start the Hammers are imploding here with 30 minutes gone.

I’m not sure what’s worse, this pun or the fact I laughed at it!

I may have been a bit harsh on Jussi Jaaskelainen earlier. It was a bad mistake but it may not go down as an own goal.

There’s no doubt as to the scorer of Swansea’s second though. Michu is having a dream start to the season:

Carlton Cole cuts an lonely figure up front for West Ham who have, in the past few minutes, resorted to the long ball.

However, they’re only succeeding in frustrating the big striker as most passes are going wide of the mark.

So unlucky for West Ham, Carlton Cole with a brilliant header only to see it cleared off the line by Neil Taylor.

HALF TIME – Swansea 2 – West Ham 0

What a strange game. Swansea have hardly been brilliant today but they were gifted two goals by West Ham.

For the visitors, Sam Allardyce can be happy with Matt Jarvis’ debut but apart from Cole’s chance just before the break, West Ham haven’t really looked like pulling a goal back.

We’re hearing reports in TheScore office that Sunderland v Reading is off due to a waterlogged pitch.

Had to check the calendar to make sure it was 2012.

There’s no threat of a waterlogged pitch in Wales though as the sun shines and the second half kicks off.

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that West Ham get back into this game.

However, if they try to force the game, Swansea proved last week they are devastating on the counter attack.

Very little annoys me more as a football fan than seeing a paid professional who is unable to take a corner.

If Johnathan de Guzman isn’t hitting the first man, he’s putting the ball out of play before it curls back in.

Shocking stuff but I’m sure Swansea fans won’t care as long as it stays 2-0.

Twice now the assistant referee has prematurely raised his flag to deny Swansea scoring opportunities.

Both decisions look suspect and Michael Laudrup won’t be happy if West Ham find a way back.

For once, the assistant keeps his flag down but Danny Graham sends it wide when it looked easier to score.

That should have been 3-0 to Swansea and game over but can West Ham make them pay?

In the mean time, Modibo Maiga has come on for Carlton Cole as West Ham look to press forward.

It’s game over here as Danny Graham makes up for his earlier miss to make it 3-0 to Swansea.

Our stats department informs me that’s eight goals in ten shots on target for Swansea this season.

Impressive stuff.

West Ham and Ricardo Vaz Te resorting to shots from well outside the box now.

Like everything else they’ve tried today, it’s not working.

Meanwhile, Kemy Augstien  has replaced Johnathan de Guzman who will, hopefully, head home and practise his corner-taking skills.

There’s ten minutes left in the Liberty Stadium and Luke Moore has just come on to replace Wayne Routhledge.

Eight goals for, none against and surely top of the league come the end of the weekend.
