There are 14 runners in the Supreme Novices’.
Ballyandy (11/4 j-f) and Melon (11/4 j-f) are the clear market leaders but there’s been plenty of money for Bunk Off Early (7/1), River Wylde (8/1), Crack Mome (11/1) and Cilaos Emery (16/1) too.

That wasn’t as straightforward as expected. Charbel seemed to be giving Altior a good run for its money before coming down at the second last.

Next up is the Ultima Handicap Chase at 2.50 which has 23 runners.
There has been a lot of talk about favourite Singlefarmpayment in the build-up which is currently priced in and around 5/1.
There has also been plenty of interest in Holywell, Noble Endeavor, The Druids Nephew and Un Temps Pour Tout.

Top-weight Un Temps Pour Tout wins it for Tom Scudamore and David Pipe, just edging out race favourite Singlefarmpayment.
Davy Russell finished a creditable third on Noble Endeavor for Gordon Elliott.

Going by our poll, favourite Yanworth is out in front but plenty of you are also keen on Petit Mouchoir, Brain Power, Moon Racer and Buveur Dair.

Another cracking race at Prestbury Park as Nicky Henderson claims his record sixth Champion Hurdle.
Buveur D’Air travelled home in style to see off the challenge of Sceau Royal and Petit Mouchoir.

Another cracking finish at Prestbury Park. Apple’s Jade was surrounded by Willie Mullins’s two star mares but dug in so well to claim a second festival win of the day for Elliott.
It’s been a remarkable day of action already. And while the big races may be finished, we’ve still got a Grade 2 and a Listed race to come.
Nicky Henderson and Gordon Elliott will be particularly pleased with their afternoon’s work, while it’s been a strangely slow start to the festival for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh.
