Theo Walcott, who has been in good form lately, has given them the lead after a neat finish against Everton, with an assist from Aaron Ramsey.

GOAL FOR TOTTENHAM!

Brilliant solo run from Bale, who bests Downing easily, before crossing to Lennon, who has an easy tap in (7 mins).

The goal is more than Tottenham deserve, with Bale looking especially lively so far.

GOAL FOR SWANSEA!

Bit of a surprise at the Liberty Stadium, as Swansea lead third place West Brom 2-0.

Michu and Routledge are the scorers.

A Bale free-kick from about 30 yards out gets a slight deflection off the Liverpool wall, outfoxing Reina and finding the back of the net in the process.

The Welshman has been a class apart so far.

Meanwhile, United lead Wet Ham thanks to yet another Robin van Persie goal.

It’s an exciting game at White Hart Lane, with both sides looking a tad suspect at the back.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale continues to look the best player on the field.

Fellaini has equalised for Everton, with some weak Arsenal defending to blame (28 mins).

So much for Steve Bould making a dramatic impact.

Papiss Cisse has given the Magpies the advantage, following a howler from Stoke goalkeeper Begovic (47 mins).

Meanwhile, Liverpool are continuing where they left off towards the end of the first half, and look the better team at the moment.

Every time Sterling makes a mistake, it’s an example of ‘the young man learning the game,’ it seems, according to Trevor Francis.

Sterling’s flaws aside though, Liverpool continue to dominate a sluggish-looking Tottenham side, but lack a killer instinct in the final third.

Lennon attempts to clear a Gerrard header from a corner off the line, but his clearance deflects off Bale rather comically and goes into the net (71 mins).

‘That’s definitely an own goal,’ says a commentator whose name is definitely Trevor Francis.

Liverpool’s performance deserved that bit of luck.

Suarez has just blazed over from close range.

Only one team has shown up in this second half, and Liverpool deserve to be level at least based on how it’s panned out.

A fantastic strike from the enigmatic Mario Balotelli has given City the lead (69 mins).

And Ireland’s Jon Walters has equalised for Stoke (84 mins).

A stunning edge-of-the-box strike from Milner has effectively won it for City (72 mins).

Meanwhile, Jerome has turned it around for Stoke, as they now lead Newcastle 2-1 (86 mins).
