Good afternoon all, we’re following two games live this afternoon. Our first port of call is the AIB Munster senior club hurling semi-final between Ballygunner and Glen Rovers at 2pm.

Following a pitch inspection at Walsh Park, the game goes ahead.

Some background ahead of today’s game. Glen Rovers recently ended a 26-year wait for Cork honours. Read the report from their victory over Sarsfields here.

In Waterford, Ballygunner scored a four-point victory over Tallow to retain their crown. The match report from that game is here. 

The winners will face Na Piarsaigh or Thurles Sarsfields in the Munster final. The second semi-final will be played next Sunday, following the tragic death of Sars selector Jackie Griffin.

Both teams will play the remainder of the game with 14 men.

Patrick Horgan registers another point for Rovers, a free this time, and they move 0-4 to 0-2. Rovers with the breeze in the first half it must be said.

Ballygunner could badly do with a score before half-time to keep in touch.

And Brian O’Sullivan obliges from a free, 0-3 to 0-7 the Gunners trail.

We’ll stay with the second half of the Ballygunner-Glen Rovers game before switching to the Kerry SFC final at Fitzgerald Stadium, throw-in there 25 minutes away.

Brian O’Sullivan’s third point from a free in a row opens up a 0-10 to 0-8 advantage for Ballygunner.

Another point for Ballygunner, and Tim O’Sullivan with the score this time, they lead by 0-11 to 0-8.

And another point for Ballygunner, this time by Billy O’Keeffe, now they lead 0-12 to 0-8. This is remarkable stuff.

Almost midway through the second half and Ballygunner have unloaded on Glen Rovers after half-time with a run of 9 unanswered points.

Stephen Power nails a 65 for Ballygunner and they have hit 0-10 without reply in the second half, 0-13 to 0-8 the latest score.

Early days in the Kerry SFC final and it’s level at 0-1 apiece.

Less than 13 minutes of normal time remaining at Walsh Park and Ballygunner are on course for the Munster final.

Killarney Legion are 0-2 to 0-1 clear and South Kerry have suffered a blow with Robert Wharton black-carded.

A Bryan Sheehan free for South Kerry has tied the Kingdom SFC final at 0-3 apiece.

Jamie O’Sullivan edges Legion 0-4 to 0-3 clear of South Kerry in Killarney.

Ballygunner look home and hosed now, playing with the breeze and outscoring Glen Rovers by 0-14 to 1-0 in the second half.

Another Ballygunner point and that looks that, they lead 0-18 to 1-8.

What a second half performance from Ballygunner, who qualify for a first Munster senior club hurling final since 2009.

We’ll focus our attentions on the Kerry SFC final now, where Killarney Legion lead South Kerry by 0-6 to 0-3.

It’s a significant fixture for Dingle also, who will represent Kerry in next Sunday’s Munster club semi-final against Nemo Rangers if South Kerry, a divisional outfit, win the county title today.

We’re back underway in Killarney, where the next half an hour will decide the destination of the Bishop Moynihan Cup.

South Kerry on top now and Brendan O’Sullivan ties it up at 0-7 apiece.

South Kerry defenders not happy with that one. The referee is looking for advice from the linesman.

The point stands. South Kerry players remain very unhappy.

This one looks like it’s heading for a replay, as we’re into 2 minutes of additional time.

That should be the winner.

A mass brawl has broken out at full-time. Referee Seamus Mulvihill given a Garda escort off the pitch.

Big problems for fixtures-makers now. Replay fixed for next weekend. Will we see another instance of a team playing twice in two days (should Legion win the replay), or will Dingle be nominated to go forward from Kerry, as club champions?
