Full-time: Bayern Munich 1-2 Real Madrid

A great win for the holders, but it’s still all to play for in this one.

GOA… offside. Ramos appears to have scored a third for Madrid, but his header is rightly ruled out.

Full-time: Atletico Madrid 1-0 Leicester City

It’s all over at the Vicent Calderon. That’s not a bad result for the Foxes.

Real Madrid sub – Benzema off, James Rodriguez on.

Just wide! Marcelo has a great chance to make it three, but blasts the ball the wrong side of the post.

GOAL! Bayern Munich 1-2 Real Madrid (Cristiano Ronaldo)

A second away goal for the champions! Substitute Asensio puts the ball into an inviting area and Ronaldo gets a toe to beat Neuer.

And again! That’s top class from Neuer, who extends his arm to stop Ronaldo’s attempt.

Benzema kept out – Neuer is a match for the Real Madrid striker’s first-time efforts. Moments later, the Bayern number one gets down to block Asensio’s strike.

Two Bayern changes – Ancelotti brings on Juan Barnat and Douglas Costa for Alonso and Ribery.

RED CARD! Javi Martinez is sent off and Bayern are down to 10 men. The Spaniard picks up a second booking for a late challenge on Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, Madrid have replaced Bale with talented 21-year-old attacking midfielder Marco Asensio.

Great stop! Modric puts the ball onto Bale’s head and he directs it goalwards. However, the attempt is too close to Neuer and the Bayern goalkeeper makes a cracking save.

Still 1-0 to Atleti in Madrid, but there’s been some bad news for Leicester as a Robert Huth booking for his foul on Griezmann means the German defender is suspended for the return leg. Club captain Wes Morgan is out through injury at the moment too.

GOAL! Bayern Munich 1-1 Real Madrid (Cristiano Ronaldo)

There’s the equaliser. Casemiro feeds Carvajal out wide and the Spaniard’s cross is met by Ronaldo, who guides a volley into the far corner with expert precision.

SECOND HALF – We’re back. No substitutes during the break to report.

Half-times:
Bayern Munich 1-0 Real Madrid
Atletico Madrid 1-0 Leicester City

And he misses! Vidal blazes over the bar from 12 yards. Still 1-0.

The spot-kick had been awarded after Carvajal blocked Ribery’s strike with his arm. Very harsh decision.

PENALTY TO BAYERN…

Yellow card – Kroos picks up a booking for crashing into international team-mate Muller.

Save – Ronaldo is fed the ball 25 yards out. He turns and launches a strike at goal, but Neuer gets down well to bat it away.

Decent chance! And it goes the way of Bayern. Robben shows incredible close control to make space for himself out on the right flank. His cross to the back post is a good one and Vidal — arriving late — heads off target.

Casemeiro sticks his leg out to block Vidal but it’s the Brazilian who comes off worse and he requires treatment.

GOAL! Atletico Madrid 1-0 Leicester City (Antoine Griezmann)

Albrighton collides with Griezmann but it’s outside the box. Nevertheless, the home side are awarded a penalty and the Frenchman dusts himself off to score past Schmeichel.

PENALTY TO ATLETICO MADRID…

GOAL! Bayern Munich 1-0 Real Madrid (Arturo Vidal)

The Germans hit the front. Vidal isn’t picked up sufficiently for the corner and the Chilean midfielder powers home a header.

Off the bar! Kroos sends in a delightful cross, which is met by the head of Benzema. Neuer is stretching but manages to get a fingertip to knock the effort onto the crossbar.

Boateng catches Benzema on the ankle and Real Madrid have a free-kick in a dangerous position.

Ronaldo to take… and he blasts over the bar.

Carvajal is down receiving treatment after a collision with Vidal. Replays show that the contact was minimal, however, and the full-back will be fine.

At the Allianz Arena, Real Madrid put together a meaningful attack involving Modric, Bale and Ronaldo. The Portuguese captain tries his luck from distance but it strikes a Bayern player.

It’s been 100 miles-per-hour in the Atletico Madrid – Leicester game and Koke has just smashed the ball off the crossbar from 25 yards out.

KICK-OFF – Thiago tips the ball back into his half, and we’re away. Bayern are in their traditional red and white, Madrid wearing all-black.

Here come the team, this should be tasty. In the early game, Monaco have edged out Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in a pulsating affair.

Big teams news from Munich, where Bayern’s main striker Robert Lewandowski has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury picked up in last week’s win over Borussia Dortmund.
