WHATEVER ROBBIE KEANE can do, Lionel Messi canโt do better?
The Barcelona superstar tried the move made famous by the Irish international, hiding behind goalkeeper Joe Hart in the hope that he would absent-mindedly drop the ball, in last nightโs first-leg Champions League encounter.
However unlike Andy Marriott, Joe Hart noticed the striker looming behind him and didnโt make the same mistake.
Of course, Keane himself probably took inspiration from the true innovator of the move, Dion Dublin (see below), who once left then-Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given rather red-faced.
Cue: lots of jokes about how Given is the only Irishman who doesnโt know where Dublin is.
Iโm sure the irony of Jim McGuinness revealing all in a book is not lost on Kevin Cassidy.
Really hope he gets a good ghost writer (Keith Duggan or Kieran Shannon would be perfect) and this could be a belter of a book.
No matter what your opinions on the football, heโs a fiercely interesting guy.
fools and their money.
Christ did this lad win a few championships or just one .
He won it twice! Once as a player and once as the manager
