Premier League clubs are calling... and Messi is open to offers - reports

The Barcelona star is reportedly ready to quit Spain over ongoing tax investigation.

LIONEL MESSI HAS reportedly signalled his intent to quit Barcelona after 14 years with the Catalan giants.

The 28-year-old is said to have grown frustrated with an ongoing tax investigation in Spain and is ready to listen to offers from other countries.

The Sun report that Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been in touch with the Argentinian’s representatives with one of the trio making contact twice in the past week.

Messi and his father Jorge are facing trial over an alleged €4 million tax fraud and any bid to pry him away from Barca is going to have to shatter the world transfer record.

His current contract is due to expire in 2018 with a €250 million buyout clause.
