RONAN LYNCH, THE man-of-the-match in Limerick’s Munster U21 quarter-final last week, comes in at centre-back for the county for tomorrow’s Munster intermediate final against Clare.
Lynch struck 1-8 against Cork in Páirc Uí Rinn last Tuesday night and he’s joined in the starting intermediate side by fellow U21 players Sean Flanagan and Peter Casey at corner-back and corner-forward respectively.
The three players to lose out from the Limerick team that defeated Tipperary at the semi-final stage are the injured Jody Hannon, Mike Fitzgibbon and Dean Coleman.
Opponents Clare have made two changes from their semi-final success against Waterford as Rory Hayes comes in at corner-back and Michael O’Neill gets the nod at corner-forward.
Barry Fitzpatrick and Danny Russell are the players to make way.
