Limerick bring in U21 man-of-the-match as they make 3 changes for Munster final against Clare

Clare have made two changes for the game.

RONAN LYNCH, THE man-of-the-match in Limerickโ€™s Munster U21 quarter-final last week, comes in at centre-back for the county for tomorrowโ€™s Munster intermediate final against Clare.

Lynch struck 1-8 against Cork in Pรกirc Uรญ Rinn last Tuesday night and heโ€™s joined in the starting intermediate side by fellow U21 players Sean Flanagan and Peter Casey at corner-back and corner-forward respectively.

The three players to lose out from the Limerick team that defeated Tipperary at the semi-final stage are the injured Jody Hannon, Mike Fitzgibbon and Dean Coleman.

Opponents Clare have made two changes from their semi-final success against Waterford as Rory Hayes comes in at corner-back and Michael Oโ€™Neill gets the nod at corner-forward.

Barry Fitzpatrick and Danny Russell are the players to make way.

@PScald: haha . Nothing really wrong with the story though . Prob got published here as Martin Oโ€™Neill was looking at him., made the right choice . Senseless for him to play for Ireland . All tbouse long haul flights to prob sit on the bench

For someone who grew up in Australia he sounds like someone who grew up in Dublinโ€™s Northside!

Very tidy player, always demands the ball in tight spaces. Has a great range of passing and could do a job for Ireland I reckon. Definitely the stand out Centre Mid in the A-League.
