LIAM RUSHE COULD find himself in serious trouble after he saw red in Dublin’s defeat against Waterford.

Rushe clashed with Maurice Shanahan and was sent off in the dying moments of the All-Ireland quarter-final in Semple Stadium.

TV replays showed the pair exchanging words before Rushe lashed out and smacked Shanahan across the face with his hurl.

Waterford won 2-21 to 1-19 to set up an All-Ireland semi-final against holders Kilkenny next month.

One of the most one sided games in a long time, however City could have dropped points. Alveraz played well but Haaland missing his shooting boots again today. Happy to take the three points in the end. Sheffield needs more confidence if they are to.stay up.
