INBEE PARK WAS a cut above the field as she won Olympic gold by five strokes on becoming the first woman to win a golf competition at the Games in 116 years.
Ireland’s Leona Maguire produced another under-par round on Saturday to finish in a tie for 21st but the Cavan amateur will rue her two rounds of 74 on Wednesday and Friday.
Maguire posted four birdies today, as well as two bogeys, to card a two-under par 69 while Stephanie Meadow finished with a 72 to sit in a tie for 31st on two-over par.

World number five and seven-time Major winner Park dominated at Rio 2016 and there was no letting up as she completed a convincing victory.
Even a change of schedule and shotgun start brought on by the threat of thunderstorms could not blow Park off course as she combined seven birdies with two bogeys to end the competition on 16 under.

Lydia Ko made birdie at the last to snatch the silver medal away from Feng Shanshan.
“Being able to be standing here, representing South Korea is very special,” Park said after her final round.
“It’s a huge honour and I guess it could be the highlight of my career.”
