Cavanagh struck 0-3 in Tyrone’s thrilling late win in Clones while Brogan bagged 1-4 from play for Dublin in Croke Park in an outstanding showing.

Cavanagh saw off teammate Cathal McCarron and Donegal’s Ryan McHugh, who were also nominated for that award for the game in Clones.
While Brogan’s Dublin teammates Kevin McManamon and John Small had also been in the running for the honour from the clash in Croke Park.
