A special mention for St Fintan’s High School of Fingal, who will compete at this level for the first time in 2017. They’ll face 2011 winners Clongwoes Wood in the first round.
In the Junior Cup, the standout tie of the first round sees defending champions Blackrock meet 2015 runners-up Terenure College.
