THE DATES AND kick-off times for this year’s Guinness Pro12 semi-finals have been confirmed, with Leinster’s last four clash taking place at the RDS on Friday 19 May.
Leo Cullen’s side assured themselves of a home semi-final with victory over Connacht in their last Pro12 outing and their fixture will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and TG4 with a kick-off time of 7.45pm.
The second semi-final will be hosted by either Munster or Scarlets the following day, Saturday 20 May, at 6.15pm. That game will also be broadcast by Sky Sports with other broadcasters to be announced once the home team is confirmed.
Munster are currently second in the table and could secure a home semi-final this weekend as they travel to Italy to face Treviso.
Rassie Erasmus’ side head into the penultimate weekend of the regular season nine points ahead of Scarlets in third while Ospreys currently occupy the fourth and final playoff berth.
Ticket information for Leinster’s game will be announced in due course.
The Guinness Pro12 final takes place on 27 May at the Aviva Stadium.

Munster and Ulster may have something to say about that?
Munster win their last two and Leinster lose to either Glasgow or Ulster, then it will be Friday night lights at Thomond.
Typical Dublin based blinkers.
@Julian Knipe: might want to double check that

@Julian Knipe: Munster and Ulster may have something to say about what?
@Julian Knipe: “Leinster Rugby are the only team to guarantee a home Semi-Final with two rounds left of the regular season. Whether they finish first or second in the league, their fixture will take place in The RDS Arena on Friday, May 19th. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.”
@Julian Knipe: Hi Julian, just to clarify. Leinster secured a home semi-final with two games of the regular season remaining and regardless of whether they finish first or second in the Pro12 table, their semi-final will be on Friday 19 May at the RDS, as announced this afternoon.
@Julian Knipe: Ha ha ha what was that you were saying about Dublin based blinkers? If you’re gona be an ignoramus at least try to be an informed one ;)
@Julian Knipe: So much for your “typical Dublin based blinkers” remark. It’s a fact that it’s in the RDS.
@Julian Knipe: think before you type
@Julian Knipe: Awkward….
This is really embarrassing… Should be a delete function on the 42 to be used sparingly when somebody has made a complete fool of themselves.
@Conor Paddington: No no, it’s much better fun when they can’t backtrack.
Not to mention the 28 people that green thumbed his comment too.
@Paddy O’Brien: agreed, I suppose I was just rubbing it in.
@Ciara Baines: yeah, should be a name and shame.
@Julian Knipe: they and you can say what they like it’s not going to change the fact Leinster already have a confirmed home semifinal.
@Julian Knipe: Where have you gone??
@Dave Murray: unfortunately he’s disappeared. I’m etching the name Julian Knipe into my memory so that I can bring this back to haunt him at some later date.
@Julian Knipe: well that’s awkward
The knipes are out for u m8
Ah, my train of thought was that if Munster finished 1st they would host the first semi final on the Friday night and the team that finished 2nd would host second on the Saturday.
I now appreciate this is the greatest mistake ever committed.
I will drop goal my apology to all Leinster fans at the earliest opportunity.
@Julian Knipe: It’s not the greatest mistake ever commited…. it’s just one that made you look like a bit of a plonker with a chip on your shoulder.
Leinster will finish 2nd at worse even if they lose both remaining games they can only be caught by Munster so it’s correct to say Friday night lights”
Ah lads yous are all shokan witty with such pithy little putdowns. Such talented slaggers, the art is safe.
@Collitov: Say that again….in English preferably.
