HOLDERS ST KIERAN’S and Kilkenny CBS ensured that it will once again be an all-Kilkenny showdown in the final of the Leinster Colleges Senior A Hurling Championship.
For the fifth time in seven seasons, the rivals will meet in the decider following respective wins against Mountrath and Dublin North on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Jay Leahy and Conor Doheny helped CBS into a nine-point lead at half-time against Mountrath.
And while the Laois men gave a strong account of themselves and outscored their more decorated opponents after the break, CBS ran out comfortable winners by eight.
Holders St Kieran’s will be gunning for revenge in the final after losing both the 2013 and 2014 final to their rivals.
Kieran’s started strongly but were made to work by Dublin North who finished the first half with four unanswered points to trail by just two at the break, 0-7 to 0-5.
But second-half goals from Martin Keoghan, Ed Delaney and Sean Carey sealed a seven-point win.
