LEICESTER CITY HAVE launched an internal investigation after three of the club’s players, including Nigel Pearson’s son, were filmed in a sexually explicit video in which a Thai woman was allegedly racially abused.
The footballers are alleged to have filmed three Thai women engaged in explicit sex acts in a hotel room, when one of them appears to make a racial slur.
The Sunday Mirror have published a heavily censored video which appears to depict defender James Pearson, 21, striker Tom Hopper, 22, and goalkeeper Adam Smith, 22, engaged in sexual acts with Thai women.
We take the conduct of our players at every level extremely seriously and will take appropriate action, if necessary, once the full facts of the situation have been established,” said the club in a statement. “Pending the outcome of an internal investigation, the club will make no further comment.”
The club are currently in Thailand for an end-of-season tour to promote links between them and the home country of billionaire owners Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
