LeBron is breaking records like they're going out of fashion ... again

The NBA superstar became the first man to reach 27,000 points with 7,000 rebounds and 7,000 assists.

LEBRON JAMES DOMINATED the headlines once again as the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar made NBA history against the Charlotte Hornets yesterday.

A day earlier, James had moved ninth in the league’s all-time scorer’s list, overtaking Elvin Hayes in a victory over his former side the Miami Heat.

Against the Hornets, James netted a season-best 44 points, while becoming the first man in NBA history to reach 27,000 points with 7,000 rebounds and 7,000 assists.

Another landmark outing helped the Cavs to a 116-105 success, improving their record to 17-5 atop the Eastern Conference.

After his milestone night against the Heat, James was at it again as he stung the Hornets with a monster haul.

James had nine rebounds and 10 assists to go with his 44 points, Kevin Love backing his team-mate up with 22 points of his own.

Kemba Walker impressed for the Hornets with his 24, but it was all about one man at the Quicken Loans Arena.
