TWO OF THE UFC’s fan favourites will clash for a second time when the organisation heads to Canada next month.
A rematch between popular veteran lightweights Jim Miller (26-8-1) and Joe Lauzon (26-11) will take place at UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver on 27 August.
The American pair, who have won 21 fight night bonuses between them, contested an epic battle at UFC 155, with Miller emerging as the victor via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). The bout took several ‘Fight of the Year’ awards at the end of 2012.
Miller and Lauzon were in action just 10 days ago at UFC 200, but with each of them picking up first-round TKO wins — against Takanori Gomi and Diego Sanchez respectively — they’re ready to enter the octagon again just seven weeks later.

With his stoppage of Gomi, 32-year-old New Jersey native Miller — who had been on a 1-4 skid entering the bout — returned to winning ways following back-to-back losses at the hands of Michael Chisea and Diego Sanchez.
Hailing from Boston, Lauzon — who’s also 32 — rebounded from a unanimous-decision defeat to Evan Dunham last December.
