Kingston and O'Loughlin lead strong Laois team to play Longford

Peter Creedon’s men were relegated to Division 4 in the spring.

LAOIS BOSS PETER Creedon has named his side for the Leinster SFC first round against Longford on Sunday.

The O’Moore County were relegated to Division 4 in the spring, but they’ll field a strong team for the game with Brendan Quigley pairing up with Kevin Meaney at centre-field.

Colm Begley anchors the defence from 6 while Laois’s inside forward line features talented attackers Evan O’Carroll, Donie Kingston and John O’Loughlin.

Longford have yet to name their team for the clash.
