People of LA haven't a clue who Steven Gerrard is and it's absolutely hilarious

What they lack in knowledge, they make up for in enthusiasm.

IF YOU LIVE in California, and have no interest soccer, it’s hardly a crime to not know Steven Gerrard from Adam.

While plenty of people are bound to recognise Gerrard when he settles in LA, this video shows that he’ll probably be allowed much more of a private life than he’d be getting in England.

Sky Sports sent a reporter and a cameraman around the city to vox pop the people on their latest famous resident, and understandably, plenty of them hadn’t an iota who he was.

However, despite not knowing who the former Liverpool legend is, it didn’t stop them giving some incredibly entertaining answers.

First there was the brilliantly sarcastic man in the red t-shirt, who after telling the reporter just how little he knew about the situation, replied, “Sweet! Sweet!” after being filled on who Gerrard was.

Then then there was the woman who stared passionately down the camera lens as she told the viewers how much Gerrard cares about his fans, before an appearance from someone who may not know much about Gerrard, but knows plenty about “that cutie” David Beckham.

We then fell in love with the sweet old gentleman who, after telling the reporter he was clueless as to Gerrard’s identity, used the word “Toodle-pips”, instead of Goodbye.

But none of these people had a patch on the man dressed up as Samuel L Jackson’s Pulp Fiction character Jules Winnfield, who insisted that he couldn’t possibly attend a Galaxy game unless his old friend Marsellus Wallace was there.
