Kilmallock get backed by this Korean hurling pundit in the Lebanon for All-Ireland club final

The Limerick club are drawing support from all quarters.

THE COUNTDOWN IS on to tomorrow’s AIB All-Ireland senior club hurling final with Kilmallock and Ballyhale Shamrocks vying for honours.

Not everyone connected with the south Limerick and south Kilkenny communities can make the match in Croke Park however.

Comdt David O’Shaughnessy – a brother of Kilmallock hurler and 2007 Allstar Andrew – is currently stationed overseas  in UNIFIL in South Lebanon with the Irish Defence Forces.

That hasn’t stopped David, who now lives in Durrow in Laois,  getting in the mood and supporting his native Limerick club in their quest for honours. He’s also roped in troops from Italy, Korea, France, Ghana, Serbia and Malaysia to lend their support.

And one of the troops from Korea has been studying the form of the Kilmallock and Ballyhale teams to give his prediction for tomorrow’s game.
