KILLIAN BRENNAN HAS left Shamrock Rovers by mutual consent, the club have confirmed today.

A statement on Rovers’ website confirmed the parting of ways this afternoon.

It brings to an end Brennan’s second spell at the club, after he joined in December 2015 following a previous stint with the side in 2012, with the player also counting Bohs, St Pat’s and Derry among his former clubs.

The 2013 PFAI Players’ Player of the Year follows his brother, Gavin, out the Tallaght Stadium exit door, with the 28-year-old midfielder leaving the club last month after complaining that he had been “left in the stands with no explanation“.
