SKY SPORTS WILL broadcast a second successive game involving the Limerick hurlers after it was confirmed their fixture against Kilkenny in the hurling qualifiers will be televised next Saturday night.
The Nowlan Park clash was the pick of the fixtures from this morning’s hurling qualifier draw with a throw-in time of 7pm.
Limerick’s Munster semi-final defeat to Clare was also broadcast on Sky Sports.
Dublin will meet Laois in Parnell Park at 7pm, while earlier that day Waterford travel to face Offaly to Tullamore at 3pm and Tipperary entertain Westmeath in Semple Stadium at 5pm.
In the football qualifiers, RTÉ will provide live coverage of the Mayo-Derry game in Round 2A at 5pm in Castlebar.

Limerick and Kilkenny have had both their matches on sky already and there next game is on sky as well, a bit unfair that.
Lions and Limerick on Sky next Sat – neither of which will go well ( in all probability )
@John Ryan: Its flip of a coin for me.Confidence is fairly low in Kilkenny at the moment……and when you see management putting the new (injured) full back and sub goalkeeper up in the forward line you just know that things are going badly wrong.Limerick have a great chance
@John Ryan: ah john so negative…cheer up mate :)
@john ryan.you are a prime example why limerick hurling is where it is.
@James Collins: A person who hurls insults, trolls and has a photo profile of Trump tells its own story, you should not be taking the bate.
@ktsiwot: too true but he pisses me off!!
@ktsiwot: that’s not trump?
Perfect game for Kilkenny. A win against Westmeath for example wouldn’t have done anything for Kilkenny, but beating a decent team like Limerick, which they should do, will do enough for their confidence to make them a threat again further down the line.
@Johnny: Is their confidence really that low?
@An_Beal_Bocht: Well they’ve lost their last two games to Wexford, hard to argue that confidence isn’t low after that. We’ll see what sort of performance they can come up with Saturday, should be interesting.
@Johnny: I dunno, this makes it a long year for Kk which they’re not used to, with a lot of competitive games to get to Croke park again, and they don’t seem to have the strength in depth. Next round will be tougher again
@An_Beal_Bocht: I can’t see them winning the big one this year after this draw
Well. That’s confirmation of my trip to Ballybofey.
Every Mayo game will be televised on RTE, absolute joke!!
Love Sky coverage. So much more in depth and analytic than RTE. More Sky coverage needed.
@Matt Taylor: I agree. The knowledge they have is second to none.
If Derry were to beat Mayo….the smile on Joe Brolly’s face…
