Kilkenny to face Limerick in standout game after hurling qualifier draw

Tipperary, Waterford and Dublin will all be in action as well.

KILKENNY WILL MEET Limerick in the standout game after this morning’s All-Ireland senior hurling Round 1 qualifier draw.

The Cats will have home advantage in Nowlan Park for a game between counties that last met in championship action in the 2014 All-Ireland hurling semi-final.

Reigning All-Ireland hurling champions Tipperary will also have home advantage when they take on Westmeath.

Derek McGrath’s Waterford side are on the road after being drawn away to face Offaly.

While Ger Cunningham’s Dublin team will be in action at home against Laois, victors over Carlow in yesterday’s preliminary round game.

The games will take place next Saturday 1 July with venues and times to be confirmed later.
