CAPTAIN ADRIAN MULLEN hit 1-9 as Kilkenny booked their place in the Electric Ireland Leinster minor hurling semi-finals today.

Kilkenny ran out 1-20 to 0-11 winners over Wexford in Nowlan Park in a game where they were in front 0-10 to 0-6 at the break.

Ross Banville bagged 0-8 for a Wexford team who now face a quarter-final tie at the end of April.

An early goal by Kevin Desmond helped Dublin claim a 1-11 to 1-8 victory over Laois in Parnell Park as they booked a semi-final berth.

Laois fought back to go in front 1-6 to 1-5 at the break with Oisin Bennett netting. A Bennett point put Laois ahead 1-8 to 1-7 with nine minutes left but three points by Sean Currie and one from Jason Byrne saw Dublin run out victors.
