KILDARE HAVE ALREADY clinched promotion from Division 3 of the Allianz football league but there is a huge amount at stake for opponents Clare in Newbridge on Sunday.
Manager Cian O’Neill has made four changes to the Lilywhites starting fifteen with his side currently top of the table on 10 points and Clare just behind them in second place on eight points.
Kildare bring Tom Corley, Hugh McGrillen, Fionn Dowling and Rob Kelly into the team as they make changes from last Saturday’s win over Tipperary. Mark Donnellan, Cian O’Donoghue, Daniel Flynn and Eamon Callaghan make way.
Clare will name their team tonight and they only need to get a point from Sunday’s game to ensure they will be playing Division 2 football next year.
