AUSTIN STACKS WERE crowned Kerry league champions again on Sunday after an extra-time thriller against rivals Dr Crokes.
Judging by this highlight reel produced by Sideline Eye, Stacks owe a lot to the totemic presence of Kieran Donaghy who looked virtually unplayable.
The Kingdom star opened the scoring after just 20 seconds when he flicked a dropping ball past Crokes keeper Alan Kelly.
And there was more of the same in the 20th minute when he showed his strength to hold off his marker before he was fouled for a penalty.
Shane O’Callaghan’s miss looked like it could be costly when the game finished 1-7 to 0-10 but Stacks were strongest in extra time as Shane Guthrie scored to help them to a 2-9 to 0-13 win.
