‘WELL JOE BROLLY, what do you think of that?’.
It was the moment from last year’s All-Ireland football final that generated as much debate as anything that unfolded on the pitch. Kieran Donaghy delivered a somewhat passionate post-match outburst towards RTÉ pundit Joe Brolly in the wake of the Kingdom’s victory.
And now it looks like the pair have made up and are friends again.
Donaghy’s club Austin Stacks are busy getting set for their All-Ireland club semi-final on February 15th against Derry’s Slaughtneil and the club today held a corporate lunch fundraiser at the Ballygarry House Hotel in Kerry.
The occasion was the scene for Donaghy and Brolly coming face to face and everything went just fine.
Here’s the interview that started the whole thing off.
few days late there Marty
He’s only at Ireland for the beer
It will be a mistake keeping MON for the next campaign. When you see him picking big men like Daryl Murphy & Jon Walters and leaving a player with pace like Shane Long on the bench, you start to realise football left Marty behind 6/7yrs ago.
Last big pay pay for Martin taken the piss for long enough Leicester way above this mans ability elvis has left the building go back to TV my mom loved you and she thinks football is shite!!
