COLORADO RAPIDS RECORDED their third straight Major League Soccer win last night as Kevin Doyle scored a late winner in Seattle.

The Ireland striker netted in the 84th minute to his side an important three points as they look to climb off the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

Doyle was heavily involved throughout against the Seattle Sounders and after latching onto a ball over the top, showed his strength to get away from his marker and emphatically finish low into the corner.

It’s the Wexford man’s second goal in three MLS appearances.

Colorado remain 10th but are now level on points with Houston Dynamo and one behind SJ Earthquakes.

Next-up is a clash with Robbie Keane’s LA Galaxy on 1 August.
