There’s 15 league games on around the country today.

IT’S THE LAST round of games in the Allianz football league with the key Division 1 showdowns in Omagh, Clones, Castlebar and Derry.

Afternoon all. Happy Easter and welcome along to a huge Gaelic football day. There’s matters of promotion, relegation and Division 1 semi-finals at stake today. We’re following all the action.

So here’s today’s fixtures, all games 3pm unless stated.

Offaly 1-5 Antrim 1-2
The big game of the day in the basement division is in Tullamore. The winners of this game will claim promotion along with Longford while a draw will suffice for Antrim. It’s a three-point lead for Offaly at the moment. Nigel Dunne with Offaly’s goal and CJ McGourty hit the net for Antrim. Bernard Allen has hit 0-4 for the Faithful.

Big game of the day is in Omagh. A win or a draw for Kerry and Tyrone are relegated. If Tyrone win by two points or more then, it’s Kerry who are likely to go down.

Some big names back in action for Kerry today, it’ll be interesting to see will they be sprung from the bench.

Great start for Cork against Derry with Stephen O’Donoghue finding the net and Daniel Goulding scoring a point.

Division 2
Laois in front against Down by 0-2 to 0-0 while Meath lead Cavan by 0-2 to 0-1.

Mayo 0-2 Donegal 0-2
All square now in Castlebar.

Tyrone 0-3 Kerry 0-2

Division 2
All square in Salthill at 0-2 apiece between Galway and Kildare.

Division 3
Sligo ahead of Armagh by 0-2 to 0-1 while it’s 0-2 apiece between Limerick and Laois. Tipperary in front by 0-1 to 0-0 against Wexford.

The locals will be happy so far as Peter Harte taps over a neat point for Tyrone. They’re two clear.

Plenty interest over the Atlantic in the action in Omagh it seems.

Bright start by Dublin thanks to points from Kevin McManamon and Bernard Brogan.

Division 2
Fintan Kelly with Roscommon’s latest point and they’re flying with a 0-4 to 0-0 lead against Westmeath. Down in front 1-3 to 0-3 against Laois.

Division 3
Goal for Tipperary’s Peter Acheson as they’re in front 1-2 to 0-2 against Wexford. A goal as well for Fermanagh’s Sean Quigley as they lead 1-0 to 0-2 against Clare. That’s bad news for Wexford and Clare in their fight against relegation.

Four points between them now in Clones.

Offaly in a good position now as they aim to claim promotion today.

Tyrone bounce back through a point from McCurry after the concession of that goal but then they spurn a great goal chance as Bryan Sheehan blazes wide. Then Donaghy fields a high ball and offloads to Geaney who scores and brings his total to 1-2 for the day.

Cork ahead 1-8 to 0-8 against Derry, Dublin lead Monaghan 1-10 to 0-6 while Mayo have gone 0-9 to 1-5 in front against Donegal.

Roscommon in front 1-9 to 0-9 against Westmeath while Down are in front 2-10 to 0-12 by Laois. Cavan lead Meath 0-11 to 0-9 in Navan.

Down are now seven points clear of Laois in Newry and it looks like they’ll be playing Division 1 football next year.

Three points now between the teams in Omagh.

Division 2
Cavan now 0-12 to 0-9 clear of Meath and in pole position to get promoted. It’ll be tight though on scoring difference if Roscommon, currently 1-9 to 0-10 ahead of Westmeath, hold on for a win there.
