KERRY MANAGER EAMONN Fitzmaurice has named a largely experimental team for his side’s McGrath Cup fixture against Clare on Sunday.
None of the players currently on a team holiday in Florida were available for selection for the Kingdom’s first outing of 2016.
The team is predominately made up of players from last year’s All-Ireland winning junior side with Shane Murphy, Brendan O’Sullivan, Philip O’Connor and Jeff O’Donoghue all included.
Brian O’Beaglaoich, who was a member of the 2014 All-Ireland winning minor team, will make his debut while Paul and Brendan O’Sullivan are handed starts after helping South Kerry to the championship title before Christmas.
