Early news from Division 2 in Páirc Ui Chaoimh as Cavan are ahead 0-9 to 0-5 against Cork at half-time in a game which started at 1pm.

Laois and Carlow have the early pace-setters in this division and after Carlow’s victory yesterday in Dungarvan, Laois will be happy to be staying in touch and they are currently in front 1-6 to 0-3 after 20 minutes against Wicklow. Gary Walsh with their goal.

Luke Loughlin with the latest point as Westmeath go 0-9 to 0-4 clear of Sligo.

Cork trying to make a late rally as Stephen Sherlock points to cut Cavan’s advantage to 0-14 to 0-10. Time running out for the home side however.
