LIAM HASSETT WILL serve as a selector for the Kerry senior footballers in 2016.
Kerry GAA have confirmed this evening that manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has added Hassett to his backroom team for next season.

The Laune Rangers man, who has been managing his club of late, won three All-Ireland titles during his playing career, including one as captain in 1997. He joins Diarmuid Murphy and Mikey Sheehy on the selection panel.
This year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists have also installed a replacement for trainer Cian O’Neill, who has departed to take over as manager of Kildare.
The role of trainer/selector will now be filled by Padraig Corcoran, who has been the Kingdom’s strength and conditioning coach since 2012.
A Dingle clubman, Corcoran also trained the Kerry minors in 2010 and ’11.
