The 29-year-old Bray native overcame Jelina Jelic of Serbia via unanimous decision in her first fight of 2016 as part of a 15-bout Kanturk Boxing Club card.
Tomorrow night, she faces Pan American champion Queen Underwood at the Mount Brandon Hotel in Kerry as she steps up preparations for the Rio Olympics this summer.
It will be the last time the pair meet in amateur boxing as the US fighter is turning professional.
