'Absolutely delighted' Judy Reynolds earns new personal best in Olympics Dressage final

The Kildare native came 18th overall at the event in Rio today,

JUDY REYNOLDS HAS finished 18th and achieved a personal best score of 75.696 along with horse Vancouver K in the Dressage Freestyle final today.

It represents a continuation of the Kildare native’s excellent recent progress, having been ranked as low as 144th in the world just over a year ago.

The Germany-based Irish athlete previously reached the final on Friday with a score of 74.090.

Reacting via Instagram, Reynolds said she was “absolutely delighted” and “very proud” of the result.

Meanwhile, Britain’s Charlotte Dujardin won gold with a score of 93.857, while German duo Isabell Werth and Kristina Broring-Sprehe took silver and bronze respectively.
