Finished in time for MOTD! Anthony Joshua wins in just 97 seconds

Up next for Britain’s heavyweight sensation: old foe Dillian Whyte.

ANTHONY JOSHUA FIRED another warning shot at the world’s best heavyweights as he stopped Gary Cornish in just 97 seconds.

Joshua wowed London’s O2 Arena with a lightning-fast stoppage to claim the vacant Commonwealth title.

Joshua floored Cornish early with a thunderous right hand and stretched his pro record to an unbeaten 14-0.

Next up is a grudge match against old amateur rival Dillian Whyte with the two set to meet for the vacant British title on 12 December.

Here’s the punch which signalled the beginning of the end for Cornish.
