JOSE MOURINHO’S COMPENSATION could be affected due to Chelsea’s ongoing legal dispute with former club doctor Eva Carneiro.
According to Neil Ashton in The Daily Mail, Chelsea believe they don’t have to fork out any money to the Portuguese because of what they perceive as a breach of contract from Mourinho’s clash with Carneiro during the opening Premier League game of the season against Swansea.
Carneiro subsequently left the club after her role was reduced and she is pursuing a constructive dismissal case against Chelsea whilst also submitting an individual claim against Mourinho.
It’s believed that a compromise was reached between Chelsea and Mourinho regarding a pay-off, believed to be a £250,000 per week up to a maximum of £10m, until he finds employment elsewhere.

Should the club have forced through a dismissal, Mourinho would’ve been reportedly entitled to £40m in compensation.
