LIVERPOOL CAPTAIN JORDAN Henderson is a doubt for Euro 2016 after suffering a knee injury.

The 25-year-old did the damage in last night’s Europa League quarter-final first leg draw away to Borussia Dortmund, which saw him replaced by Joe Allen.

A scan has revealed that Henderson has done lateral collateral ligament damage, meaning he is set to miss the remainder of the Reds’ season.

The England international is expected to be out for between six to eight weeks and now faces a race to be fit in time to take part in this summer’s European Championships in France.
