JONNY HAYES’ FINE club form has been recognised with a place in the PFA Scotland Premiership Team of the Year.
The 28-year-old Irish midfielder also picked up a hat-trick of awards at Aberdeen’s end-of-season dinner last night, being named Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and also winning the Dons’ Goal of the Season award for his strike in the victory over Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

Hayes made his Ireland debut in last month’s friendly against Switzerland and was also shortlisted for the PFA Scotland Player of the Year earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Hayes’ Aberdeen teammate Danny Rogers has been named in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Year.
The 22-year-old is on loan at Falkirk and has played 34 times in the Scottish Championship this season, with the Bairns second in the table.

Rogers has been battling with Manchester City goalkeeper Ian Lawlor for a starting place in the Irish U21 side but will be hoping to make a breakthrough to the senior team when he returns to Aberdeen next season.
The Cherry Orchard graduate was born in New York to Irish parents and has had other loan spells with Airdrieonians and Dumbarton.
