United stars Jones, Carrick and Rojo enjoy Liverpool win with away fans

There were a couple of familiar faces in the Anfield away end today.

PHIL JONES, MICHAEL Carrick and Marcos Rojo enjoyed an away day with a difference on Sunday.

The injured trio were spotted in amongst the travelling fans as Manchester United beat Liverpool at Anfield.

Jones’s ecstatic celebrations in the away end were caught on camera following Wayne Rooney’s 78th-minute winner:

Earlier, Carrick tweeted: “Come on boys…!!! Wish I was playing, but this is next best thing.”

And afterwards, the veteran midfielder added: “Get in boys! Waited a long time to do an away game properly. Nearly thrown down 3 rows when we scored”

Sky’s cameras also picked out Argentinian international Rojo as he celebrated with the United fans:

‘I’ll be selfish and enjoy that one, it’s a long time since I scored the winner at Anfield’
