Ex-girlfriend claimed Manziel struck her 'several times' - police

The controversial young QB allegedly struck his ex-girlfriend several times during an argument, according to police.

CLEVELAND BROWNS QUARTER BACK Johnny Manziel allegedly struck his ex-girlfriend several times during an argument in January, police say.

A Fort Worth Police report details the 30 January incident between Browns quarterback Manziel and his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley.

Manziel struck Crowley “several times … including a strike to her left ear,” according to the report.

An elongated argument between the two began at the Zaza Hotel in Dallas, where Manziel allegedly hit Crowley.

Manziel then drove the two in her vehicle back to her Fort Worth residence, according to the report, and police say the argument continued on the drive with Manziel angrily shouting at her and again striking her.

When questioned by police, Crowley became “irritated” by the officer’s questioning and did not report an assault while becoming “increasingly uncooperative,” police said.

She did say she was running in and out of her apartment to get away from Manziel, who eventually “fled the area on foot” and was not found despite an air search.

Manziel was questioned by police and is the subject of an ongoing investigation into the incident. He has not been arrested or charged with a crime.

Manziel and Crowley dated for two years and lived together for four months before breaking up in December.

Manziel has denied the claims, telling TMZ he is “completely stable, safe and secure”.
