The WWE got a little bit too 'real' last night with John Cena's broken nose

That’s gonna hurt.

YEAH YEAH, WWE wrestling is fake. We know.

Do you know what’s not fake? A broken nose.

Monday night’s scrap between John Cena and Seth Rollins deviated from the script when Rollins caught Cena flush in the face with his knee.

Look at it there, right in the schnozz:

The injury was serious enough that the match was stopped more than once to allow Cena to receive medical treatment.

He still won — as per the script, no doubt — but surely he deserves a bit of respect for battling on.

It’s been said many times that in real sports the play is stopped and the player taken off should injuries occur but in the “fake” sport of wrestling the show must go on, and performers finish their match when they really should be on the way to a hospital. just ask Mick Foley.
