JOHN ALDRIDGE WAS back in San Sebastian over the weekend to watch his old club earn three points.

The ex-Ireland and Liverpool striker spent two seasons in La Liga between 1989-1991 — scoring 33 goals for the Basque club. Yesterday, he returned to the Anoeta Stadium to watch David Moyes’ men defeat Espanyol 1-0 thanks to a Sergio Canales goal.
