Joe Hart remains on the Man City bench as Guardiola continues to freeze him out

The Premier League side are in Champions League play-off action this evening.

IT WOULD SEEM that Joe Hart will have to get used to being second-choice for the foreseeable future.

He was on the bench for Manchester City’s opening Premier League fixture against Sunderland on Saturday and Willy Caballero has again been preferred to the England number one for City’s Champions League assignment tonight.

Pep Guardiola’s side are in Romania to take on Steaua Bucharest in the first-leg of their play-off and though the Catalan has made two changes, Hart is not one of them.

Instead, Nicolas Otamendi and Pablo Zabaleta come in for Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna.

Rumours suggest Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will sign for City imminently from Barcelona, leaving Hart with a big decision to make.

Will he stay and fight for his place, albeit from third-choice?

Or will he look for a move elsewhere?

Manchester City XI: Caballero, Zabaleta, Otamendi, Stones, Kolarov, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Nolito, Sterling, Aguero

Steaua Bucharest: Nita, Tamas, Hamroun, Stanciu, Muniru Sulley, Tosca, Golubovic, Momcilovic, Enache, Popa.
